The intervention, part of the Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), aims to support the creation or development of non-agricultural activities in the municipalities of Mação, Oleiros, Proença-a-Nova, Sertã, and Vila de Rei. The goal is to boost the local economy, proximity services, and employment in the region.
Individuals or legal entities that are SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) can apply. The support is a non-reimbursable grant, at a rate of 50% of the eligible investment, which must be between €10,000 and €300,000.
Eligible expenses include construction, improvement, adaptation, or recovery of buildings, acquisition of new equipment and vehicles essential for the activity, software, industrial property, marketing plans, and associated architecture and engineering studies. The purchase of land, second-hand equipment, simple replacement investments, and the company's own labor are not eligible expenses.
Projects must focus on economic activities (CAE) specified in the notice, which are scored in order of priority. Applications are ranked by score, and only those achieving at least 10 points will be selected, up to the allocated budget limit.
Applications are submitted via an electronic form, available on the Agriculture portal and at www.pepacc.pt. The notice, the complete list of CAE, and other documentation are available on the portals www.pepacc.pt and www.pinhalmaior.pt.
