The AI Experience Lab, an INA initiative to promote Artificial Intelligence in Public Administration, has been once again highlighted by the OECD, reinforcing international recognition for its work.

The AI Experience Lab, an initiative developed by the INA to promote the experimentation, training, and responsible adoption of Artificial Intelligence in Public Administration, has once again been highlighted by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). This international recognition underscores the work being carried out in this area.
Recently, the project was featured in the report Government Unstuck: The Next Frontier of Government Transformation, an OECD publication that gathers examples of governmental innovation and transformation from various countries, highlighting approaches capable of responding more effectively to the challenges faced by public administrations.
This distinction follows the selection of the AI Experience Lab for integration into the OECD.AI Policy Observatory, the OECD's international platform dedicated to collecting and disseminating policies, initiatives, and best practices related to Artificial Intelligence. At the time, the OECD recognized the initiative's contribution to AI governance and adoption in the public sector, considering it a relevant example for strengthening the global knowledge base on the responsible and effective use of these technologies by governments.
Promoted by the INA, the AI Experience Lab has established itself as a space for experimentation and practical learning, supporting the exploration of Artificial Intelligence's potential for improving public services. The initiative combines training actions, demonstration activities, and the development of solutions applied to specific challenges in Public Administration, aiming to foster ethical, secure adoption focused on creating public value.
The successive highlights awarded by the OECD demonstrate the international relevance of the work developed by the INA in this domain and reinforce Portugal's position among countries exploring new ways to modernize Public Administration through the responsible and innovative use of Artificial Intelligence.
