A joint notice has been launched to support research and development (R&D) projects carried out by companies, aiming to stimulate their economic valorization and promote innovation.

The MPr-2026-11 Notice, published under Portugal 2030, aims to support operations that integrate industrial research and/or experimental development activities. The goal is the creation of new products, processes, or services, or the introduction of significant improvements to existing ones.
This initiative seeks to continue the effort to alter the specialization profile of the Portuguese economy, supporting the reorientation of the productive sector towards more innovative, sustainable, and knowledge- and technology-intensive models.
Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and small-mid cap companies can apply for this notice, funded by the Regional Programs of Centro, Lisboa, Alentejo, and Algarve. In co-promotion applications, Non-Business Entities of the Research and Innovation System (ENESII) are also beneficiaries as co-promoters.
The application period will run until 6:00 PM on December 30, 2026, through the Balcão dos Fundos.
