The ISEG – Lisbon School of Economics & Management announces the launch of the new Master's in Applied Mathematics for Economics and Management (MMAEG), a program taught entirely in English that continues the path of one of the institution's most recognized bachelor's degrees: Applied Mathematics for Economics and Management (MAEG). The course, lasting three semesters (90 ECTS), offers flexibility with three specialization areas: Applied Mathematics, Economics, or Management, guiding students towards professional careers or scientific research.
The fully English-taught program reinforces the international dimension, targeting graduates in quantitative fields such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Management, and Engineering. The developed skills open up professional prospects in sectors like banking, insurance, consulting, technology, energy, and telecommunications, in roles related to quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and risk management.
ISEG's MAEG bachelor's degree has built a solid reputation with high entry averages and excellent employability. The new master's deepens knowledge in financial analysis and mathematics, statistics, and operational research, applying them to economics and management. With MMAEG, ISEG strengthens the training of specialists capable of building quantitative models to support strategic decisions.
ISEG is promoting two presentation sessions for the new master's program in November, open to all interested parties. Participation is free upon prior registration.
