The initiative, running since 2021, aims to encourage the creation and development of business projects, fostering cooperation and partnership building. The Mayor, Marlene Guerreiro, emphasized the importance of cultivating an entrepreneurial culture and strengthening São Brás de Alportel as an "entrepreneurship-friendly ecosystem".
The event showcased businesses from various sectors, including medical technology (Savvy Alpha), animal welfare (Petshop do Mercado), fashion (100 Limites Stores and Loja Coelho), information technology (InovaPrime), cosmetics (Diva Cosméticos), local accommodation (Terracota House), sewing services (Clínica da Costura), leisure and crafts (Bloom Inspo), and advertising (Aplitec).
The discussion on business challenges featured contributions from José Arthur Vasconcelos-Sousa, a professor at the Universidade Católica, and Ana Lúcia Cruz from the Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer Division (CRIA) of the Universidade do Algarve. The session was moderated by Marlene Guerreiro and attended by João Rosa, president of the Junta de Freguesia de São Brás de Alportel.
Organized by the Municipality of São Brás de Alportel under the coordination of the Entrepreneur's Office (Gabinete do Empreendedor), the forum is part of the municipal strategy to support the local economy. The office was established to nurture ideas and enhance the relationship between the municipality and the business community.
The initiative includes a plan for project promotion and follow-up to support their consolidation and growth, contributing to a more dynamic and innovative business landscape in São Brás de Alportel.
