The European Commission approved, on October 14th, the reprogramming of the Mar 2030 Programme, aiming to improve fund utilization and respond to financing demand.

The decision, formalized by Decision C(2026)7317, introduces adjustments to the total financial allocations per fund and national contribution. The changes affect specific objectives (OE) 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.6, 2.1, 2.2, and 4.1, as well as the targets for achievement and result indicators. A strategic operation under OE 1.6 has also been replaced.
The request for modification of the Programme was justified by the need to optimize fund application and respond to the actual financing demand.
The Monitoring Committee of Mar 2030 met in Peniche on May 27, 2026, issuing a favorable opinion on the proposed changes.
The complete reprogramming of Mar 2030 is available for consultation.
