The Justice Portal launched a new version on October 29th, featuring a renewed look and significant improvements to facilitate access to information and digital services.

The project, funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) under the Digital Transition Dimension, Component C18 – Economic Justice and Business Environment, through project 33.1 – Digital Justice Platform 2.0, was developed by the Institute for Financial Management and Justice Equipment (IGFEJ).
The new platform stands out for its simpler, more intuitive, and accessible navigation, with reorganized content to facilitate information retrieval. The homepage gives greater prominence to search and the most sought-after services, such as applying for nationality, renewing the Citizen Card, and requesting judicial support. Content is now organized by themes: Courts, Registries, Dispute Resolution, and Justice and Economy.
Among the new features, the platform includes step-by-step guides for tasks such as creating a company online, registering a child's birth, applying for the first Citizen Card, or requesting and using the Digital Mobile Key (Chave Móvel Digital). It also gathers news from the Ministry of Justice and its respective bodies in a single space, along with an area dedicated to Justice Statistics, providing data and budget information in open data format.
Users can now rate page content and leave comments. The platform also integrates improvements in search, accessibility, and support technology. The renewal covers the websites and sub-sites of Justice bodies integrated into PDJ 2.0, which now adopt a common visual identity based on the Ágora Design System, also used by gov.pt.
This update aims to make information easier to find and simplify access to Justice services for citizens, businesses, and professionals.
