The initiative, evolving from the traditional Employability Week, aims to strengthen the University's connection with the business and institutional landscape. UNIPS's Employment Forum offers a more comprehensive approach, including an Employment Fair, workshops, practical sessions, a Talent Bootcamp, and meetings with organizations.
The main objective is to go beyond simply advertising job openings, creating a space for meeting, learning, and collaboration between the academic community and employer organizations, covering skills development, professional experience sharing, and the identification of job and internship opportunities.
On November 10, the Talent Bootcamp, in partnership with Magma Studio, will provide final-year students with an immersive experience of interacting with companies.
The Employment Fair, scheduled for November 11 and 12, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, in the outdoor tent of the Rectorate building, will feature 112 companies, including names like Airbus, Siemens, CTT, Deloitte, PwC, EY, Navigator, DHL, Lidl, and Lisnave. The event will be open to students and graduates.
The Strategic UNIPS-Companies Meeting, on November 11, will bring together the Rectorate and business representatives to discuss skills needs, recruitment trends, and collaboration possibilities between the University and the job market.
On November 12, the inaugural meeting of the Alumni Advisory Council will take place, a new space to value the professional paths of former students and strengthen their connection to the University.
With this new format, UNIPS aims to establish employability promotion as a transversal dimension of its mission.
